      Stage One

      The first stage is called the Foundation Level and it offers basic learning about Accounting and Finance to the candidates. You will come across these three subjects under the Foundation Level:

      • Business and Technology (BT)
      • Management Accounting (MA)
      • Financial Accounting (FA)

      Stage Two

      The next stage is the Skills Level. As the name signifies, this stage guides the candidates through diverse skills based on the Foundation level knowledge. The subjects in this stage are:

      • Corporate and Business Law (LW)
      • Performance Management
      • Taxation (TX)
      • Financial Reporting (FR)
      • Audit and Assurance (AA)
      • Financial Management (FM)

      Stage Three

      Finally, the last stage is the Strategic Professional Level. This stage is the most crucial stage as it trains not only in accounting skills but also various professional skills such as leadership and management, extremely necessary for the corporate world.

      This level has two categories of subjects. The first category has compulsory subjects while from the secondary set of subjects, candidates have the freedom to choose their specializations. 

      The Compulsory Subjects

      The compulsory subjects of Stage 3 are also known as the Essential subjects because of their extreme importance in this level. These essential subjects are:

      • Strategic Business Leader (SBL)
      • Strategic Business Reporting (SBR)

      The Optional Subjects

      The ACCA Stage 3 offers a list of options for subjects from which the candidates can select any two. These options subjects are:

      • Advanced Financial Management (AFM) 
      • Advanced Performance Management (APM) 
      • Advanced Taxation (ATX)
      • Advanced Audit and Assurance (AAA)

      ACCA Fees and Charges

      The ACCA curriculum fees may look confusing because there are several elements involved in it. Later on, you will understand that these elements are actually for the betterment of the ACCA pursuing candidates. Let us dig into the various elements of the ACCA Fees and Charges. 

      Initial Registration Fee: The initial registration fee is the amount that you must pay to get registered with ACCA and start your journey. The initial registration fee is a one-time amount of £ 89 which you don’t have to pay if you enrol via Zell Education.

      Annual Subscription Fee: You must get an annual subscription to the ACCA system to fetch information, support, and others for your ACCA journey. The amount for this subscription is £137 and you must renew this subscription without fail each year to continue with ACCA. If the subscription is not renewed on time, it may finish the ACCA registration also. 

      Knowledge Level Exam Fee: For every stage that you cross and for every exam that you appear in, you must pay an exam registration fee. For Stage 1 or the Knowledge Level exam, you must pay a fee of £89 to £125 per paper.

      Skills Level Exam Fee: When you cross the first stage, now you must appear in the Skills Level exam for which you have to pay an exam registration fee of £143 per paper.

      Professional Level Exam Fee: The fees for the final stage of the Professional Level Exam are the highest. The fees of this stage is variable depending upon the subjects you choose from the optional category. You will pay £180 per paper. However, for the strategic exam leader exams you will have to pay £252.

      Exemptions Fee: ACCA offers exam exemptions for candidates depending upon their educational qualifications. Usually, exemptions from most exams are free, but ACCA charges a fee for some exemptions. Candidates may have to pay an average fee of Rs. 10,000 per subject for the exemptions.

      ACCA registration is mostly done online as this is one of the most convenient options available for students in different parts of the world. 

      How to Book Your Exam?

      ACCA offers extreme flexibility to its applicants in terms of examinations. You can book your exams in different ways according to your convenience and comfort. 

      On-Demand Exams

      If you want to appear in the exam according to your choice, you must register for On-Demand exams. For this, you must contact the ACCA partners who will help you book the exam according to availability in your location. 

      Session Exams

      Usually, ACCA exams take place in 4 different sessions annually. These session exams take place in March, June, September, and December. If you do not have any outstanding fees and have cleared the previous stage, you can book your session exam through the ACCA portal or with the help of the ACCA partner. 

      Remote or Centre Exam

      Apart from the exam dates, ACCA also offers flexibility in booking the mode of exam for the candidates. This means you can choose whether you want to appear in the centre exam or in the remote. Also, the ACCA’s tools are helpful in guiding you to choose the correct exam format that you must choose. 

      Session Exam Fees and Booking Deadlines

      The ACCA course has three different booking deadlines according to which the session exam fees also vary. If you book your exam early, you will benefit the most by paying the least exam fee. 

      The standard booking will allow you to make a payment this higher than the early booking but less than the late booking. So, quite obviously, the late booking deadlines are those where the candidates have to book their exam slots with the highest exam fee amount. 

      So, be active and book your exams at the earliest to avail the lowest fee amount. 

      View, Cancel, and Amend Session Exam Booking

      If you think that you have made your exam bookings in haste and now you want to make changes or even cancel them, ACCA allows you to do the same. However, you must make the required changes before the closing of the Standard Booking deadline to claim the refund of your exam booking fee. 

      ACCA Exam Date & Registration Process
